Sour cherries from the Latin name Prunus Cerasus are the fruits of the sour cherry fruit tree from the Rosaceae family. Manual picking allows the farmer to pick the organic sour cherries and guarantee optimal ripening of the fruit. Once these have been received at the factory, organic sour cherries are approved, stripped from their stems, leaves, then washed, pitted and IQF frozen.
